For the past 30 mins or so, I was looking for RSS news feeds. The bad news is that most of the big name services like CNN and Reuters don’t serve RSS. I think the reason is because they want people to see more ads that are posted on the web sites. Personally, I think this is sad…

Mar Rovers
Mars rovers are amazing. According to this Reuters news article, they can move around the Mars surface and take pictures using an auto-pilot system. This Mars rover project has really changed the way I think about space explorations.
Who Powers Yahoo! Search Engine
I was wondering who powers the Yahoo! search engine. I thought it was Google, but again I remember hearing some news about Yahoo! has dropped Google.

Superheavy Elements
Ununtrium (113) and ununpentium (115) may be the two new elements that you will see on a periodic table. According to this Scientific American article, some scientific experiments have shown the existence of two new superheavy elements — i wonder just how heavy are they?
Try Wireless Service Before Your Pay
This is an interesting business model of a wireless company –
customers can try the service before they pay for it. Orange said less than 10% of the UK population would straight out and invest in a new technology. Based on this assumption, Orange now allows their customers to try out new services free for 30 days. These services include picture and video messaging.
Very nice! I wish the US has something like that.
Tamagotchi
Bandi is about to launch a new Tamagotchi next month. This time Tamagotchi will be able to mingle, chat and date with other Tamagotchis using IR. This is awesome! If I see them in the stores, I will buy two.
